How to Save Pinterest Images Without an Account (2026)
Pinterest's app lets you long-press to save images, but it strips you back to its compressed preview. Here's how to grab the original high-res file straight from Pinterest's CDN.
Why long-press inside Pinterest isn't enough
Long-pressing an image in the Pinterest app or mobile site saves a downsized preview, not the original file the creator uploaded. The full-resolution image lives on Pinterest's CDN (i.pinimg.com) at a different URL — the app just doesn't expose it.
PinSavePro reads the pin page, resolves the originals URL on i.pinimg.com, and hands you a direct link to the highest-resolution copy Pinterest actually serves.
Step 1: Copy the pin link
In the Pinterest app, tap the image pin, hit the Share icon, then Copy Link. On desktop, open the pin and copy the URL from the address bar. Both pinterest.com/pin/... and pin.it/... short links work.
Step 2: Paste into the image downloader
Open pinsavepro.com/image-downloader, paste the link, and tap Download. You'll see a thumbnail preview plus a single Download Image button — the resolution shown matches what Pinterest actually serves.
Step 3: Save the original
On iPhone, tap and hold the opened image, then Save to Photos. On Android, the file lands in your Downloads folder automatically. On desktop, right-click and Save Image As.
Why no account is needed
Public Pinterest pins are served by Pinterest's CDN to logged-out visitors. PinSavePro acts exactly like a logged-out browser would — it never asks for your Pinterest credentials and never stores the file on our servers.
What we can't grab
Private boards, secret pins, deleted pins, and pins behind age-restricted content don't have a public URL. No downloader can pull them — that's a permission issue, not a tool issue.
Try it now
Paste any Pinterest pin URL to download the video, image, or GIF.
We never store your downloads. Files come directly from Pinterest's CDN.
