How to Download Pinterest Videos on iPhone (2026 Guide)

A step-by-step guide to saving Pinterest videos directly to your iPhone Camera Roll using only Safari and PinSavePro — no app install required.

Why Pinterest doesn't let you save videos directly

Pinterest's official iOS app intentionally hides the Save button on video pins. Static images can be long-pressed and saved, but video pins only offer Send and Repin actions. This is a product decision, not a technical limit — the video file itself lives on a public Pinterest CDN URL.

PinSavePro reads that URL straight from the pin's page and hands it to you as a direct MP4 download, which Safari can save to your Camera Roll.

Open the Pinterest app, tap the video pin you want, then tap the Share icon and choose Copy Link. You'll get a short pin.it/... URL on your clipboard.

Step 2: Paste into PinSavePro

Open Safari and go to pinsavepro.com. Tap the input field, then tap Paste. PinSavePro will resolve the pin and show a preview thumbnail plus one or more quality buttons (720p, 1080p, etc.).

Step 3: Save to your Camera Roll

Tap the highest-quality Download button. Safari will open the MP4 in a fullscreen player. Tap the Share icon in the player, scroll down, and choose Save Video. The file lands in your Photos app instantly.

On iOS 17 and newer, Safari may also offer a one-tap Download to Files option — that works too, and you can move the file to Photos afterward if you prefer.

Troubleshooting

If the Save Video option doesn't appear, the pin is likely a static image (not a video). If PinSavePro returns an error, the pin may be private, removed, or region-restricted — try a different pin to confirm.

Try it now

Paste any Pinterest pin URL to download the video, image, or GIF.

We never store your downloads. Files come directly from Pinterest's CDN.
