10 Best Pinterest Video Downloaders Compared (2026)

There are hundreds of Pinterest downloaders out there. Most are slow, ad-stuffed, or worse. We benchmarked the ten most popular and ranked them honestly.

How we tested

We pasted the same five Pinterest pins (one standard video, one Reel, one GIF, one Idea Pin, one image) into each tool and measured: time-to-first-result, maximum quality offered, ad density, popup behavior, and Google Safe Browsing status.

The shortlist

These are the ten tools we tested, in alphabetical order:

  • botdownloader.com
  • dotsave.app
  • klickpin.com
  • pindown.io
  • pindownload.io
  • pinloader.com
  • pinsavepro.com (us)
  • pintodown.com
  • pinterestdownloader.com
  • pinterestdownloader.io

Top three on user experience

Three tools stood out for clean, no-popup UX and consistent quality across all four content types: pinsavepro.com, pintodown.com, and dotsave.app. All three resolved every test pin in under two seconds and offered the highest available MP4 quality on the first try.

Functional but ad-heavy

pinterestdownloader.com and pinterestdownloader.io both work reliably but bury the downloader under aggressive display ads and at least one popup per session. They're the highest-traffic tools in the niche, but the UX is the cost of that traffic.

Skip

Two of the ten triggered Safe Browsing warnings in Chrome during the test (redirect to gambling and adult ads). We won't name them here, but the pattern is consistent: any tool that pops a new tab on your first click is selling that click — usually to a network that recycles it through sketchy advertisers.

Why we built PinSavePro

The market is full of working downloaders. What's missing is one that is also a clean, fast, multilingual, no-popup site you'd be comfortable sending a non-technical friend. That's the bar we're trying to clear.
